Our tailored eye exam will include an extensive work-up with our technicians consisting of but not limited to; visual acuity testing; color vision testing; refractive measurements; macular degeneration testing; glaucoma testing; and verification of your current eyewear.
Dr. Rodrigue feels that part of healthy eye care is an exam that includes:
- Retinoscopy/
Autorefraction: Prescription evaulation
- Refraction: an exam that measures a person's prescription for
eyeglasses or contact lenses
- Muscle Balance Testing: Used to give a precise and objective measurement of
eye alignment
- Biomicroscopy: An instrument used to exam the anterior segment (front of the eye) and the
posterior segment (back of the eye).
- Glaucoma Screening: will include tonometry testing which measures
the introcular pressure of the eye, as well as ophthalmoscopy which is looking at the inside of the eye, especially the
optic nerve.
- Dilation: Enlarges the pupils to obtain a better view of the internal structure of the eye.

Your doctor will interpret and share the results of your exam and explain any treatment options that will enhance your vision. Your eye health and better vision is of most importance, whether new glasses, contacts, LASIK, or cataract surgery, your options will be made available to you.
Ophthamology services are available on-site at Rodrigue Eyecare Center by Marc Daniels, M.D. Our doctors partner with ophthalmologists to provide pre- and post-op care. We highly encourage patients to be involved with their own care, to ensure a quick recovery.
