Dr. Dale L. Rodrigue, Optometrist
Dr. Dale Rodrigue was born and raised in Augusta, Maine. He graduated from Illinois University of Optometry in 1982 with a Doctorate of Optometry, Cum Laude. His specialties and areas of interest are primary eye care for all ages, low vision, diabetic eyes, and contact lenses. Dr. Rodrigue established his practice in Augusta, Maine in 1982 and has been a part of the greater Kennebec community ever since. Dr. Rodrigue participates in community screenings offered by MaineGeneral Medical Center and has served on the Maine Board of Diabetes. He has provided internships for students with an interest in the field and speaks to school groups. Dr. Rodrigue is also a member of the local Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Rodrigue feels that part of healthy eyecare is an exam that includes: retinoscopy,refraction, cover test, slit lamp, glaucoma screening, dilation and the Optomap Retinal Scan.
Opthamology services are available on-site at Rodrigue Eyecare Center. Dr. Rodrigue partners with opthamologists to provide pre- and post-op care. Dr. Rodrigue encourages patients to be involved with their care, to ensure a quick recovery.
